What could you do with a metal detector? |

Oh my gosh, I want one of those metal detectors. I have wanted one ever since I saw a program on television years ago that showed a man using one and finding all kinds of treasures! I just know that I could get rich with one of these things. Okay..that's a dream, but I bet I would have a ball scoping out my backyard, and those of my neighbors. (Don't know how well they would take to having their yard dug up, but still...) You never know what you might unearth, though. With my kind of luck all I would find would be rusted tin cans, but you don't know that! Imagine taking that thing to the beach and searching around. You might locate a..diamond ring..or..money! Who knows? People lose all kinds of things all the time! They are quite expensive to buy, though. Especially the sophisticated kind that has all the bells and whistles. I want one that has a little television screen on it that will actually show you what's down below, so you don't have to waste a lot of time digging for junk! Too bad they don't make one like that. Anyway, I think it would be a great way to spend time, and get some fresh air and exercise too. My hubby thinks I am nuts, but I am forever looking for ways to "strike" it rich. So, I can have my dream, and he can have his. |
